Bernardine Evaristo  is British novelist, dramatist, critic and editor. She has published several books, including Mr Loverman (2013), Hello Mum (2010), Lara (2009), Blonde Roots (2008), Soul Tourists (2005), and has co-edited the anthologies NW15 and Ten New Poets, and a series of other works. Evaristo is the recipient of the NESTA Fellowship Award, The Arts Council of England Writers’ Award, the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize, the EMMA Best Book Award, and many others.
