Diana McCaulay is a Jamaican writer.  She has published two novels, Dog-Heart (2010) and Huracan (2012), and will be releasing a third, The Dolphin Catchers, soon.  Dog-Heart won the Gold Medal at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’ National Creative Writing Awards (2008), and has since been shortlisted for the Guyana Prize (2011), the Saroyan Prize for International Writing (2012) and the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award (2012).  The later novel, Huracan, is now shortlisted for the 2014 Saroyan Prize.
