Colin Grant is an English journalist, historian and writer. In addition to writing and directing several plays and radio drama-documentaries, Colin is the author of three books: the biographies, Negro with a Hat: The Rise and Fall of Marcus Garvey and His Dream of Mother Africa (2008) and I & I – The Natural Mystics: Marley, Tosh, and Wailer (2011), and, the memoir, Bageye at the Wheel (2012). The latter was shortlisted for the PEN/Ackerley Prize for Memoir in 2013.
